Remediation of the former asphalt concrete plant area

2020 The remediation of the former asphalt concrete plant area has been completed to prevent environmental and human health hazards and to reduce the level of hazardous chemicals in the soil. The previously contaminated area, where petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel fuel, lubricants, bitumen, etc., were stored, has been cleaned and restored. The contaminated soil from the area was excavated and transported to specialized treatment facilities. During excavation, underground pipelines were uncovered, from which petroleum products were pumped out, and the pipelines were subsequently dismantled.
