Rūta Lukošiūnaitė

Rūta Lukošiūnaitė is the Global Ambassador of Green Tauragė, who sets an excellent example of how one can get involved in city development even when far from her homeland.

By creating interdisciplinary co-creation processes, Rūta implements projects that promote social learning, a culture of participation, and localize the concept of sustainability.

Since 2010, she has worked in transdisciplinary and culturally diverse teams in Denmark, Lithuania, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. Rūta holds a degree in architectural design, sustainability science, and management. Since 2018, she has actively contributed to Tauragė’s green vision, and in 2019, she was invited to become a Global Ambassador for Tauragė.

Currently, Rūta lives in Sweden and, since 2021, has been developing the activities of the non-profit, non-governmental organization VšĮ “Kultūros dirbtuvė”.
