Romualdas Vaitkus

Romualdas Vaitkus – Ambassador of Green Tauragė in politics.

Romualdas is a Member of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, elected in the Tauragė single-member constituency. The Member of the Seimas actively participates in the Committee on Environmental Protection, the Commission for Energy and Sustainable Development, and chairs the Baltic Assembly’s Committee on Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.

We demonstrate how to effectively address EU-recognized challenges related to climate change, the transition to renewable energy, social problems, or promoting business competitiveness. In the Seimas, I actively participate in submitting draft laws related to renewable energy and the goals of the European Green Deal. I believe that accountability for decisions made and proposals submitted is the most important criterion for evaluating a politician’s work.”
